David Dowdy, P.T., D.P.T.
David's education includes a B.S. in Exercise Science from CMSU in 1998, a Masters of Physical Therapy from KUMC in 2000, and most recently, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from KUMC in 2009. He chose physical therapy due to his love of how the body moves.
"I enjoy helping people regain the ability to life their lives," said Dowdy.
Because David enjoys the challenge of the vestibular system, he enjoys his work with MABI. David's testing with MABI, the physical therapy/functional testing, determines not only why a patient feels the way they do, it also determines how the balance problem causes limitiations in their everyday lives.
David trains and participates in triathalons in his free time. His hobbies include camping, fishing, and spending time with his family outdoors. Also, he is an active member of his church, specifically helping to feed starving children through mission work.
